Good condition. Verso: blank, with traces of former mounting.
Note: after a painting that was originally attributed to Rembrandt, but currently to a follower of Rembrandt. The original paintlayers have been removed radically to the groundlayer and the work was completely recreated by Joshua Reynolds (1723-1797) in the 18th century.
Note: the original painting is held in the collection of the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin.
